I met today with Paulina. In a lovely cafe I have just discovered a couple of days ago. The cafe is called Nie Lubię Poniedziałków (I don’t like Mondays) and.. is closed on Mondays! But what bewitched me the most about that place is their hand-made-hand-written menu, which looks like this:
So we talked a lot with Paulina about our experiences of leaving Poland and coming back here. We both agreed that there is a general problem all the people are facing nowadays with the lack of time, which is especially visible when coming back from a long journey abroad and having almost no-one to meet with for longer than 45 minutes or 1 hour. And being back is exactly the moment when time which people would like to spend with you is what you need the most, mainly because the feeling of isolation is very deep. And we both have experienced it. We also talked a lot about our travelling plans and Paulina’s travelling and living experiences in Peru, Oman and Lebanon. She is moving soon to Granada – which is awesome and which is where we would meet had I not changed my mind about Girl on Bike’s route.
